Hello everyone,

I'd like to share a project I've been working on: a web-based version of Silkroad Online featuring an interactive 2D world map directly connected to the game server.

Communication is handled through WebSocket technology, allowing real-time synchronization between the web client and the game server. This is not a simulation or a separate server. The system connects to the actual character inside the server and reflects movements, events, and game data in real time.

The goal is to make Silkroad accessible through a web browser on virtually any device while maintaining a live connection with the player's in-game character.

Current and planned features include:

  • Interactive 2D world map.
  • Real-time character movement.
  • Players, NPCs, and monsters visualization.
  • Inventory and equipment management.
  • In-game chat integration.
  • Party, Guild, and Union systems.
  • Stall system.
  • Administration and monitoring tools.
  • Automation features.
  • Additional game mechanics being implemented progressively.

The objective is to provide a complete web experience that accurately represents what is happening inside the game server while maintaining real-time communication through WebSockets.
