I managed to do it with what you said, but when I enter the map it freezes when I walk.

I know how the files work, the question is who has the separate map files to share.

This issue has already been discussed on VSRO.org, and the solution steps are clearly explained there.
If you complete all required steps properly, the problem will be resolved.

In summary:

  • All necessary database records must be added correctly
  • Region and link connections must be properly configured
  • Client-side MAP.pk2 / DATA.pk2 / Media files must be fully compatible
  • After all changes, the client must be patched using DBToMedia

If any step is skipped or done incorrectly...
Client requirements for Dimensional Desert:
MAP.pk2: must contain the terrain (map) files
DATA.pk2: must contain object and navmesh files
Media.pk2: region/map name must match the DB exactly
Cleanest solution:
Take MAP.pk2 + DATA.pk2 (+ Media.pk2) from a ready client that already uses Dimensional Desert and replace them 1:1 in your client.

You can get the mapinfo.mfo file from isro. I solved this problem here before.

When all steps are applied completely and correctly, the Dimensional Desert map works without any issues.
